This was a fun little build.  Bandai makes some great little kits.   Most of the parts were attached to the sprue in a way allowing me to cut them off without damaging the gold chrome plating.  There are a few places where the cuts are visible but after a light wash to make him a little dirty, you can't really see them.

The kit comes with many extra parts so he can be built for different scenes in the movie.  I decided I wanted him to be as we first saw him in "A New Hope"   Well used but not filthy.  I added paint in a few places to highlight some details and the wiring in his midsection.  A light wash brought out many details and gave him the look I was going for.
